Editor, Index-Tribune:

For a real taste of Sonoma, our historic Plaza cannot to be compared to the average small town (as defined in the Jan. 24 Op-Ed, “Main Street Sonoma is long gone”). It seems to me that limiting the Plaza tasting rooms gives those drawn to Sonoma the chance to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the surrounding wineries, plus a mix of business in the Plaza.

Seems if they want to ‘enjoy the spectacular scenery of the surrounding wineries,” the tourists need to drive out of town and go see them. None of them are visible from the inside of a Plaza tasting room.
