Likes Noyes’ preservation ideas

 Karla Noyes had a great idea (in her April 1 letter, “How to fund historic preservation”). Keep the money where it will directly benefit the buildings and those who want to keep these treasures around for as long as possible.

Last week, they mentioned a youth hostel. As cool as this might be, it is absolutely not the best way to make money to preserve these spaces. Youth Hostels are practically a free room. This is not what the Sonoma Square needs or wants.A great cafe with outdoor seating and a venue for small weddings, meetings and local get-togethers will certainly be better.Mike StephensSonoma
