Hormel Foods Corp. has recalled canned pork and chicken products due to possible foreign contamination, due to the metal in the cans it’s packed in.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, there have been “minor oral injuries associated with consumption of the products.” All of these products are marked “Best By” February, 2021.
The products effected include 12-ounce cans of Spam and Hormel Foods black-label Luncheon Loaf.
Consumers are urged to check their shelves and pantries and to not to consume the products. They should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase.
