Some say the Glen Ellen Village Fair is the best one-block festival in the country.

Join in the 80th year of fun at the “Sense of Community” themed event next Sunday, with its 1.5 block parade featuring locals, music by Ten Foot Tone, the Illegitimate AC/DC, and the Jami Jamison Band, Radar, the Trips, Rockcats, the Sonoma Valley High School Band, and 8 Hits & 2 Misses.

Kids Alley, pony rides and face painting, plus 80 booths of games run by St. Francis Solano School, food and arts and crafts.

Great fair food and wine will include Aunt Betty’s Corn Dogs; Glen Ellen Firefighters Association will sell 1202 Lagunitas beers and pouring 402 bottles of local wines; Got Balls Meatball Factory with meatballs, pasta, wraps and salad; Talk of the Town Catering will serve burritos, tacos, quesadillas and artisan ice cream and fruit bars; Famous Lemonade Cannoli Cart; Tips Tri-Tip Trolley will serve their chicken sandwich either as sando or bowl, veggie bowls, shrimp, and more; Java Wagon will have hot and cold espresso, smoothies and shaved ice; and the Jack London Saloon will be open for service. So there’s something for everyone.

Have a blast!
