A major hot-dog recall is in the grinder just in time for Memorial Day. John Morrell and Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio has recalled about 210,000 pounds of “ready-to-eat hot dog products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically metal,” according to the federal Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). All of the products were shipped nationwide.

Specifically, the recall includes Nathan’s Skinless 8 Beef Franks-14 oz. sealed film packages with a “use by” date of Aug. 19, and 16 oz. film packages of Curtis Beef Master Beef Franks with “use by” date of June 15.
