La Casa still golden after 50 years

Mexican eatery toasts five decades on East Spain|

Stop by La Casa across from the Mission on East Spain Street to help celebrate the restaurant’s 50th anniversary at the same location. While it has been through several owners since the late Al Gordon built and started it with advice from Lynn Bergeron of Trader Vic’s, the Sherpa Brothers seem to be doing a good job now.

Throughout the month of April, they will divide 10 percent of sales between Sonoma Valley Education Foundation, Stand By Me Mentoring Alliance, FISH, La Luz Center, Pets Lifeline and Boys and Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley.
