Bump Cellars to display new works by architecture, design author|

Stanley Abercrombie, the former editor of Architecture and Interior Design magazines, will open an exhibit of his latest works and collages tonight, March 3 at Bump Wine Cellars. Kate Eilertsen, former executive director of the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art, has curated the show and will even make deviled eggs for the opening.

Abercrombie and his husband, Paul Vieyra, have quietly helped the arts scene in Sonoma for years and donated much of their art book collection to SVMA. Abercrombie is a Fellow at the American Academy in Rome, the American Institute of Architects, and the American Society of Interior Designers.

Enjoy good wines and nibbles from 5 to 7 p.m. Bump is open Thursday through Monday from 12:30 to 6 p.m. 521 Broadway, Sonoma. Call 228-9214.
