New exhibit opens at Art Escape in Sonoma

Artist Lecture Series

September 24 - Gianna Marino, Author and Illustrator

October 22 - Margaret Hatcher, Costume Designer

November 5 - Lori Goldman, Fiber Artist

November 19 - Rola Craig, Art and Culture Blogger

December 10 - Dianne Aoiki, Linking Art and Music

Each event runs from 7-8 pm and includes the lecture followed by a Q&A sessions.

Light refreshments will be served.

Each lecture is a $10 donation.

A new fall exhibit is opening on Oct. 12 at Art Escape Sonoma. “Textures and Patterns of the World” runs through Nov. 30. The opening reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The autumn exhibit features the photography of Brian Shepard and Elizabeth Feroze, as well as textiles and unique Peruvian artisan crafts available to view and purchase.

All proceeds from the show will help sponsor two Art Escape instructors travel to Mexico to teach and share art techniques with the children of the Casa Hogar Francisco Javier orphanage in Tepetitlan, Jalisco.
