Pre-Valentine’s weekend wine tasting opportunities

This pre-Valentine’s weekend offers lots of wine tasting from Sonoma Plaza to Eighth Street East. Consider bringing along a designated driver.

Vine Alley wineries have united for a new event. The Vine Alley winery tasting rooms present what they call an “exclusive weekend tasting package” this Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 10 and 11.

Seven wineries with tasting rooms down the retail alley off East Napa Street will pour “reserve and library offerings” at Passaggio, Fulcrum, Sonoma-Loeb, Cochon, Black Knight, Galatea Effect and Jean Edwards wineries. $60. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. 31 E. Napa St.

Larson Family Winery will offer pairings of Annette’s Valentine’s chocolate truffles with their best wines on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 10 and 11.

Savor gourmet chocolate truffles from Napa along with Larson’s sparkling and still wines.

Members pay $8 with their customary free wine tasting, and the public pays $10 for truffles.
