Bards, bites at Sonoma Valley Museum of Art

Latest Pairings for the Senses event indulges in poetry|

Sonoma Valley Museum of Art’s “Pairings of the Senses” series continues Saturday, Dec. 2, with poetry from Hollie Hardy, Tongo Eisen-Martin, and Sonoma County Poet Laureate Iris Jamahl Dunkle.

They will read their work while volunteers pass tastes from El Dorado Kitchen’s Armando Navarro, St. Francis Winery’s Bryan Jones, Palooza Gastropug’s Jeff Taylor, and Carlo Cavallo of B&V Whiskey Bar & Grille.

Gloria Ferrer, St. Francis and La Rochelle wineries and Muscardini Cellars will all pour sips of wine.

Sommelier Chris Sawyer will emcee. $35 members, $40 public. 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. 551 Broadway. Tickets at svma.org.”
