Giant Sonoma rummage sale to benefit fire victims

New and used good priced to sell at $5 a bag|

Are you looking to assist fire victims? On Saturday, Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the community is invited to a huge rummage sale at the old Church Mouse location at 10 Boyes Blvd. in Boyes Hot Springs (behind the post office).

According to organizer Jill Kamahele, there will be 4,500 square feet of used and new donations available.

“There was so much generosity and surplus that we are now in the position to hold a community-wide rummage sale,” she said.

There will clothes, toys, bedding, shoes, kitchenware, handbags, and more.

The sale is $5 for one bag full (which translates into all you can stuff into one Safeway shopping bag), there is no limit on how many bags you purchase.

“The building is absolutely packed with inventory,” said Kamahele. “We’re hoping we can fit the shoppers in to shop!”

There will also be new handmade quilts (priced individually) that were sent to Rotary of Sonoma and the Church Mouse to be distributed to fire victims.

All proceeds received from the sale will be contributed to the Disaster Relief Fund to be distributed to fire victims. Call 938-2231.
