G3 hosts day of resilience in Sonoma

G3 hosts day of introspection, inspiration, strength and healing on Nov. 5|

In response to the tragic fires in the community, G3 Women’s Conferences is hosting “Building Resilience: A day of Introspection, Inspiration, Strength and Healing,” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, at Sonoma Broadway Farms.

“The day include healing from all aspects – movement, psychological insight, personal reflection, connecting in our relationships and creative expression,” explaind co-founder Michelle Dale Jernigan.

“We will start the day with yoga – an opportunity to move our bodies and physically relax,” she explained. “We’ll transition to focus on healing, reflecting and connecting, all in the context of processing what has happened and shaping our plans to move forward with resilience. We will end the day with an opportunity to express ourselves in a creative and meaningful way.”

Tickets for the retreat are $125. Jernigan said that 100 percent of proceeds will go to fire relief in Sonoma through the Rotary of Sonoma Valley Foundation #Sonoma Strong fundraising campaign, as well as to ensure that women in the G3 community who have been the most affected by the fires can attend at no cost.

“Each time women gather in circles with one another, the world heals a little more,” she added.

The multi-day G3 conference originally planned for Nov. 13-15 was canceled due to the fires.

Sonoma Broadway Farms is located at 20675 Broadway.
