Plan your party for one or 100. It’s time for annual Soroptimist International of Sonoma Valley lobster sale.

The lobsters will be flown in from Maine and transported to Sonoma, where buyers can pick up their lobster – live or cooked.

Each lobster is approximately 1.5 pounds, is one serving and costs $26. The pick-up date is Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Atrium Building, 670 W. Napa St., Suite C.

Local co-chairperson Juliette Andrews will be working the telephone again this year along with her team of volunteers, contacting last year’s customers. This is one of the main fundraisers for the nonprofit Soroptimists.

“This is a terrific reason to invite your friends over for a delicious lobster meal and directly impact the lives of women and girls in our community,” said Andrews.

Orders can be placed by phone by calling Carol Whitson at 953-3621 or Juliette Andrews at 338-1874, up until Friday, Sept. 15, at 6 p.m.
