The official Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival poster for 2018 was unveiled to the public at the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce’s After Hours mixer on June 14 at the Sonoma Community Center.

“We are so excited to partner with the Vintage Festival for the grand unveiling of this year’s poster,” said Mark Bodenhamer, CEO of the Sonoma Chamber. “Vintage Festival posters are iconic pieces of art and a fun annual tradition that showcases the artistic talent and picturesque scenery of Sonoma Valley. This ‘art’ focused mixer seemed like a perfect fit for the unveiling.”

The winner was artist Jim O’Donnell. He received $250 and two tickets to the Opening Night Gala.

The event was co-hosted by the Community Center in partnership with the Sonoma Creative Alliance and the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art.

“This year’s poster is beautiful and we look forward to sharing it with the community and officially kicking off Vintage Festival ‘season,’” said Maria Toimil, President of Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival.

The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival has been an annual event for 121 years. This year’s festival will be held on Sept. 28 to 30.
