Chefs Sondra Bernstein and John Toulze pulled off a dinner for 550 in the Plaza horseshoe on Aug. 20 in celebration of the 20th anniverary of the Girl and the Fig restaurant in Sonoma. Guests each chose a charity recipient for their donation from six choices. The dinner raised between $1,000 and $7,275 for Pets Lifeline, Sonoma Valley Education Foundation, La Luz,
Sonoma Community Health Center, Sonoma Valley Wine and the Sonoma Fig Foundation.
