Hare & Hatter to move from Friedman’s to the Plaza

H&H hot dogs to sizzle at old sausage location on Plaza|

Miranda Ives, owner of the popular Hare & Hatter coffee bar and “curious cafe” stand inside Friedman’s Home Improvement, has leased a shop in El Paseo courtyard off First Street East. One of Hare & Hatter’s specialties is its hot dogs and Polish sausages – lending the move a hint of irony since this space in the El Paseo courtyard was at one time the second location of Sonoma Sausage Co., which originated on First Street West.

Currently Hare & Hatter serves light breakfast goodies such as muffins, donuts, bagels, and a seven-ounce burrito of eggs, sausage and cheese, as well as tortas, Moschetti coffee drinks, Madhatter’s teas and their tasty hot and Caggiano Polish dogs, all under $5.50.
