Sonoma Community Center sets date for Come As You Art

Sonoma Community Center’s annual Come As You Art party is scheduled for Saturday, May 13, in Andrews Hall. The festivities include cocktails, appetizers and live music. Proceeds from the event fund programming at the Community Center and help maintain the facility.

“Come dressed as your favorite artist, performer, or piece of art,” said board member and event committee chair Lia Bonagura-Transue. “Join us and celebrate this wonderful historic landmark that serves the entire community.” Transue added that costumes are encouraged, but not necessary to attend.

Catering for the event will be done by Catherine Venturini, of Cuvee Wine Country Events (formerly Olive & Vine Catering), spirits by Gruppo Campari, wines by St Anne’s Crossing and dessert by Crisp Bakery. Live music will be performed by the band Vitamin Girl. Tickets to Come As You Art are $100 and are available by calling 938-4626, ext. 1, online at sonomacommunitycenter.org, or in person at the Center’s office at 276 E. Napa St.
