Cornerstone Sonoma sprouts bulb weekend

Experts will teach the secrets to long-flowering blooms|

Sunset Outdoor Test Kitchen at Cornerstone is celebrating spring with a festival of bulbs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, March 25 and 26. Visitors can learn how to layer multiple flower bulb varieties in one pot to create a season-long flowering display.

Visitors can purchase a pot from Cornerstone's Potter Green & Co. and a team of experts will teach the tricks of planting, layering and repeat blooms.

There will be a wide range of flower bulbs to choose from.

Admission is free, visitors pay for the bulbs they want to plant (and the pot from Potter Green & Co. if you choose to buy one). Bulbs cost $0.50 to $5 depending on variety.
