‘American Pickers’ looking for Sonoma antiques

Do you have a ton of stuff that you want... need... to get rid of? You could be on TV!|

The television show “American Pickers” will be filming in this area this spring and the hosts are looking for people in Northern California who have unique antique collections and interesting stories behind them.

The producers are looking, in particular, for people with large collections. They are only interested in private collections so no stores, malls, flea markets, museums, auctions, businesses or anything open to the public.

People who have one-of-a-kind items to sell are encouraged to call the producers at 855-OLD-RUST or email AmericanPickers@cineflix.com. Provide your name, phone number, location, photos and a description of the items or collection.

“American Pickers” is a documentary series on the History Channel that explores the fascinating world of antique “picking.”

“The hit show follows Mike and Frank, two of the most skilled pickers in the business, as they hunt for America’s most valuable antiques,” says Lindsey Chase, casting associate. “They are on a mission to recycle and rescue forgotten relics. Along the way, the pickers want to meet characters with remarkable and exceptional items. The pair hopes to give historically significant objects a new lease on life, while learning a thing or two about America’s past along the way.”
