Free yoga talk in Sonoma on enlightened negotiation

8 spiritual laws to connect, create and prosper.|

Mehrad Nazari has spent three decades with one foot on the trail of business, the other on the trail of academia and research – and his sight on “human potential,” seeking to discover the universal laws governing personal and professional negotiations. He will be in Sonoma speaking about his new book, “Enlightened Negotiation: 8 Spiritual Laws to Connect, Create & Prosper” on Friday, Oct. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m.

A former resident of Glen Ellen, Nazari and his wife, Michele Hebert, have taught yoga to hundreds of Valley residents. Nazari is a senior teacher of the Walt Baptiste Method of Raja Yoga and he was trained by Yogi Raj Walt Baptiste. He has been teaching yoga and meditation since 1992 and has served as an adjunct professor of business negotiation for 10 years at the United States International University in San Diego.

“You negotiate more frequently than you realize; in the workplace, with family, friends and community,” he said. “Whether you’re an experienced executive, entrepreneur, leader, attorney, parent or individual, you can hone your negotiation skills for personal interactions.”

As a consultant, teacher, facilitator, speaker and author, Nazari has worked with executives from Sony, Intel, eBay, Wells Fargo and Johnson & Johnson, and lectured at UC Berkeley and the San Diego County Bar Association.

There is no cost to attend the talk and book signing. The Yoga Community is located at 577 Fifth St. W. For more information, visit yogacommunity.net.
