Making ‘em like they used to, Nov. 15|

California State Parks, in cooperation with Sonoma/ Petaluma State Historic Parks Association, presents the 26th annual Victorian Christmas Crafts Workshop at Sonoma State Historic Park on Sunday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kids can also enjoy a Junior Ranger program, a tour of Gen. Vallejo’s historic home and grounds, and visit with a “special guest” from the North Pole. Complimentary refreshments provided. The event will be held “rain or shine.”

Admission is $3 per adult and children are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To defray the cost of supplies, ornaments and crafts will cost 25 cents to $1 each.

The craft workshop is dedicated to the memory of Kay Archibald, who chaired it for many years until her death. Anyone who would like to volunteer can call event chair Yvonne Bowers at 843-0109, or contact Sonoma State Historic Park volunteer coordinator Ari DeMarco at 939-2149 or ari.demarco@parks.ca.gov.
