Local Jack London fans may also withdraw into vivid dreams conjured by London – but they won’t have to do hard time to make it happen. They can simply join in on the ongoing Jack London Book Discussion Group, which meets next on Oct. 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Jack London State Historic Park.

The Oct. 2 meeting will be led by two Jack London scholars, Susan Nuernberg and Iris Jamahl Dunkle.

Book group participation is $10; parking $10. Refreshments will be served. For admission to the book discussion, visit jacklondonpark.com.
