‘Legends and Lore’ tours set in October

The Sonoma/Petaluma State Historic Parks Association is again hosting “Legends and Lore” one-hour walking tours around Sonoma Plaza starting at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3; Friday, Oct. 10; Friday, Oct. 17, and Friday, Oct. 24.

These tours are led by Pat Dennett and Patrick Garcia and will share stories about some of the mysteries and even a few alleged ghosts connected with some of the historic buildings and places. Last year, tour participants, some of whom had lived in town for decades, were amazed at the history that surrounds the downtown. A perfect lead up to Halloween.

Cost is $5 for adults; $3.50 for youth; and children 12 years and under are free. Cash only. All proceeds support the Sonoma/Petaluma State Historic Parks Association.

Participants should meet in the Case Grande Courtyard at 20 E. Spain St. at 6:15 p.m.
