Meeting for the third time in Sonoma County League play, the Sonoma Valley High School varsity volleyball girls turned in another strong effort and registered their third sweep of longtime foe Analy in the annual postseason SCL Tournament last night in Pfeiffer Gym.

After posting a pair of regular-season triumphs en route to claiming their third straight league crown, the top-seeded Lady Dragons squeaked out a 25-23 first-set win, then defeated fourth-seeded Analy 25-17 in both the second and third sets for the opening-round victory.

With the convincing win, the Sonoma spikers will host second-seed Petaluma in the SCL Tourney title match in Pfeiffer Gym at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Thursday, Nov. 7.
