Judith Faye King

Judy King, of Napa, passed away in the evening hours of Aug. 27, 2014.

She was born Judith Faye Martin, in Concord, on Oct. 29, 1944, to Kenneth Martin and Marge Martin. She grew up in Knightsen and Glen Ellen, graduating from Sonoma Valley High School in 1962.

Judy and Roderick King married on Feb. 16, 1970 and had one daughter together. The family moved from Sonoma to Napa in 1972. Judy was very involved with the Girl Scout organization while her daughter was a member.

She is survived by her husband, Rod, of Napa; daughter, Leslie; son-in-law, Francisco; and granddaughters, Maya and Catalina, all of Napa. She also leaves behind her father, Kenneth Martin; sister, Joan (Frank) Cappalla; sister, Beth (David) Agnason; brother-in-law, Guy King (Carlene), of Georgia; brother-in-law, Lloyd King (Barbara), of Oregon; sister-in-law, Irene Pomeroy, of Glen Ellen; as well as many nieces and nephews throughout California, Georgia and Oregon. She also leaves behind many friends but Pat Cuhna, of Napa, Vicki Bernou, of Sonoma and Joan Carter, of Idaho, need to be mentioned.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marge Martin and mother-in-law, Clara King.

She will be carried in her family and friends hearts with love.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at Valley Cemetery, 425 E. MacArthur St., Sonoma.

Duggan’s Mission Chapel, 525 W. Napa St., Sonoma was entrusted with all arrangements.
