John Harker Marshall

John Harker Marshall, 58, passed away peacefully on Dec. 13, 2013, in Oahu Hawaii.

He was born March 1, 1955, in Palo Alto, to Martha Louise and Clyde Marion Marshall.

John is survived by his wife, Louise Marshall, of Sonoma; his three stepchildren, Jennifer (Knierim),

Jamie (Perry), and Jeffrey (Knierim); and six grandchildren.

He is the youngest brother to Keith (Barbara) and Craig (Melissa) Marshall.

John is a graduate of UC Berkeley (a Phi Beta Kappa). He continued at UC Davis Medical School. He did his residency in internal medicine at Kern Medical Center.

He loved his work, and was dedicated to taking care of people at Kaiser, Vallejo.

Anyone who knew John, knew he was a dedicated San Francisco Giants fan and was fortunate to see two World Series. John also loved his trips to Hawaii, where he peacefully ended this part of his journey.

John’s many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends will miss him terribly.

John Marshall you are a warrior, fighter and the strongest man I have ever met. I will love you always and forever …
