Jean Marie Fenech, passed away peacefully one month after her 98th birthday in Sonoma on Sept. 15, 2013.

Jean was a longtime resident of the Portola district of San Francisco. She moved to Sonoma in 1977.

She was preceded in death by Frank, her husband of 48 years in 1986; her son-in-law, Fred in 2005; and her three younger sisters. She was the last of “The Gaston Girls” and a longtime Giants fan.

Jean is survived by her children, Georgette Reichardt and John Fenech (his partner, Bonnie Sakai); grandchildren, Dorie (John) Arietta, Steve Reichardt, Karen McCarney, Lisa (Ramon) Rocha, Tim Fenech and Denise (Aric) Foster; great-grandsons, John Michael, Thomas, Michael, Sean, Jack and Henry; and many nieces and nephews.

Thanks to Don and Jo Grant for their help through the years and a special thank you to Father Mike Kelly for his prayers and blessings.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Anthony’s Dining Room, 121 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco, CA 94139 would be welcomed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
