Jack London State Park hosts volunteer classes

Jack London State Historic Park is conducting a two-day training class for new volunteers on Saturday, Sept. 21 and Saturday Oct. 5.

There are many opportunities and organizers ask for a commitment of four hours a month.

The group is seeking volunteers to be docents in the museum and cottage, conduct tours, work in the entrance kiosk, play Charmian London’s Steinway piano, help with administrative and office work and help with park and trail maintenance.

Jack London SHP is operated by the Valley of the Moon Natural History Association and is a 503c nonprofit organization.
