Isabell M. Chiotti

Isabell M. Chiotti, 94, of Sonoma, entered into heaven on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2014. She was born in Quito, Ecuador, on May 19, 1919. As a young woman, she traveled the United States and arrived in San Francisco where she met and married Ambrose Chiotti. They made San Francisco their home for 54 years before moving in 2011 to Vintage Sonoma Assisted Living Center in Sonoma.

Isabell was a devoted, loving wife, a dear sister and a devout Catholic. She loved her beautiful rose gardens and fruit trees. She and Ambrose enjoyed taking walks together. She was very proud of her heritage and her family in Ecuador and often spoke fondly of her memories and visits there.

Before her passing, Isabell survived her two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her brother-in-laws, Alfred, Louis and Bennett Chiotti as well as many nieces and nephews who will miss her very much.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass funeral service to be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, at St. Francis Solano Church, 300 W. Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476.

Inurnment to immediately follow at Valley Cemetery, 425 E. MacArthur St. also in Sonoma. Donations can be made to Hospice By The Bay, 190 W. Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476.
