The No Name Cafe at Sonoma Valley High School is largely teen-run, typically employing 10 students each semester. The Cafe, located near the school library, offers a safe, comfortable place for students to hang out after school, use computers and to purchase inexpensive drinks and snacks (the cafe is the only indoor seating for students before and after school). Cafe workers learn job skills such as customer service, cashiering, food service, maintenance and inventory. Junior Jacob Cross and senior Mariah Jones, work behind the counter on a recent day after school.
