Horst J. Schwob, 74, died March 21, 2014, in Sonoma.

He was the brother of Ingebord Schwob and George Schwob, both of Sonoma, and Gunter Schwob of Germany.

He was a baker for 46 years in San Francisco, Marin and Sonoma counties. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Horst was an 18-year resident of Sonoma and a native of Germany.

No formal services will be held. A private inurnment at sea will be held by Mission Cremation Services under the direction of Duggan’s Mission Chapel.
