High school students honored in national photo contest

Sonoma Valley High School seniors Cristofer Goodman and Keegan Ginter were recently honored in the Cleveland Institute of Art High School Competition. Students from 48 states participated, with 1,075 total entries. Goodman’s  photo, “Sinking Dream,” won the Jurors Special Merit award for Integrated Media: Photography. Ginter’s image, “Half Past One,” took an honorable mention in the same category. Both students are enrolled in the Photo II elective with SVHS teacher Andy Mitchell.
