Buena Vista Winery, California’s first premium winery was founded in 1857 by Agoston Haraszthy, the self-proclaimed “Count of Buena Vista.” Possessing a deep regard for the significance of its place in California wine history, Jean-Charles Boisset brought Buena Vista into the Boisset Family Estates collection in April 2011.

Today, Boisset is returning Buena Vista to its original glory with the complete restoration and re-opening of the Champagne Cellars.

For the first time in more than 20 years, the cellars are now open to the public for guided tours, and wine is being made there once again after more than 30 years of dormancy.
