As one of the junior shooters supported by the Valley of the Moon Trap Club, Nico Grossi, a Sonoma Valley High School freshman, competed in the youth division at last month’s Martinez Gun Club trap-shooting event and, with keen marksmanship, won the “D” division Doubles Championship.

Grossi, in his third year of junior shooting for the VOM Trap Club and, coached by Mark Singleton and Robert Alkire, has now won five championships.
