Getting inoculated

Bryan Alcaraz, 9, gets a flu shot from Phoebe Caceres, one of the many students from SRJC who helped at the Binational Health Fair on Oct. 11, giving out free flu shots and assisting with medical screenings. The Health Fair attracted 235 participants who came out to see the numerous booths from the 32 agencies that participated. One-hundred-fifty people received flu shots, which is all that was available, although there were more people who wanted them. In addition to the flu shots, there were dental screenings, pediatric screenings, glucose screenings and sports medicine among other booths.
