The Gen. Joseph Hooker House is seeking docents for its historical house.
Docents will explain the history of the house as well as the time that many future Civil War generals were stationed or visited the City of Sonoma in the early 1850s. Newcomers will enjoy learning its unique history, and current residents will enjoy meeting and explain the story to visitors.
The requirement is three hours a month, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 1 to 4 p.m. Training is provided.
