Gazebo dedication

Saturday, Kenwood dedicated the opening of its gazebo in the Kenwood Plaza Park in memory of Bobby Musser-Kirby, a 5-year-old who was killed in 2009 when a tree fell on the car in which he was riding.

In addition to the dedication, the jazz and barbecue which followed was a fundraiser for the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation. Speakers included 1st District Supervisor Susan Gorin; Bert Whitaker; Don MacNair, the Kenwood resident who designed and fostered the construction of the gazebo; and Warren Musser, Bobby Musser-Kerby’s grandfather.
