Garden bounty from school gardens

Sixth-graders Noe Contreras, Ricky Hudson Jr. and Carlos Pimienta and seventh-grader Axel Chavez are four of the Altimira Middle School horticulture elective students who tend the garden and pick and distribute boxes of produce each week. Flowers and vegetables like these tomatoes, peppers and squash arrive at the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation office on Railroad Avenue weekly in the spring and fall.
