On Friday, April 25, the City of Sonoma, the Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau and Sonoma Birding joined forces to celebrate Arbor Day in the Grinstead Amphitheater on Sonoma Plaza. The city and Rotary Club honored Karen Collins with this year's 2014 Rotary Conservation Award. Additional stars of this year's program were the seedling progeny of the ancient oak tree that dwarfs the Jack London Cottage in Jack London State Park.
