Franchesca M. Quiring, 89, passed away peacefully on Nov. 10, 2013, in Sonoma at her home with her beloved husband of 69 years and her extended family by her side. She was born on July 29, 1924, in McCloud. Franchesca had such a kind spirit and as a result, anyone who met her loved her. She loved going to bingo each week, dancing the polka, loved her music and had a special place in her heart for all animals. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. She was a long time member of the Sonoma Valley Moose Lodge, #2048.
Franchesca leaves behind her husband, Jacob Quiring, and many special friends. She is preceded in death by her son, Kent Quiring.

Friends are invited to visit Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, from noon until 7 p.m. A vigil service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at 7 p.m. with the funeral on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at 10 a.m. All services mentioned will take place at Duggan’s Mission Chapel, 525 W. Napa St., Sonoma, CA 95476. The interment will follow the funeral at the Sacramento National Cemetery in Dixon.
