Flipped van

A Sonoma woman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of prescription medication and two probation violations – including one for DUI – after she flipped the van she was driving Tuesday afternoon.

Sonoma police said Debra Ghilotti, 53, was driving on Fourth Street East just north of East Napa Street when she crossed the road hitting a parked car that caused her van to flip onto its side. Sonoma Valley Fire Medical Center and Rescue personnel had to cut the top off the van to get Ghilotti out. She was taken to Queen of the Valley where she was evaluated, released and then arrested and booked into the Sonoma County jail.
