Farm Trails dinner, auction set for Nov. 8

Farm Trails, the nonprofit group formed to cultivate community among local farmers and with consumers, will hold its first ever Farm-to-Fork Fall Feast on Saturday, Nov. 8, at Atwood Ranch in Glen Ellen.

The evening features live music at a VIP reception by cellist Zoe Keating, an organic feast prepared from locally sourced organic ingredients by chef Duskie Estes of Zazu Restaurant and Farm, a live auction, and a performance by The Easy Leaves Duo.

The evening fundraiser begins with a VIP reception at 4 p.m. featuring Keating and local artisan cheese and cider makers, followed by “Sonoma County Libations and Meet Your Farmer Crostini Bar” at 5 p.m. featuring local farmers, with dinner and a live auction at 6.

The festivities conclude with a performance by the Easy Leaves Duo. Tickets for the event are $150 a person. VIP tickets are $225 and a VIP table for eight is $2,000.

Proceeds benefit Sonoma County Farm Trails and its scholarship fund for young farmers, as well as Slow Food School Sonoma Valley’s School Garden Program. Tickets are available online via Brown Paper Tickets at bit.ly/f2ff14.
