Faire celebrates middle school writers

The 2015 Jim Thrower Rotary Writing Faire honored Sonoma Valley’s best middle school authors at the Sonoma Community Center on May 20.   The winning pieces were read by the young authors on the Rotary Stage in Andrew Theater. As in the past, all middle schools in the Valley were represented. Hundreds of writing submissions were judged by local authors Vicki Whiting, Kathleen Hill, Chic Gast, Andy Weinberger, Abigail Samoun, Lorna Sheridan and Rosie Lee, and organizers Kathy Eschleman and Cathy Wedell of Adele Harrison Middle School.|
