The folk duo Hungrytown is performing a free concert at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Sonoma library.

Singer-songwriters Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson of Hungrytown hail from Vermont. They tour worldwide and have released three albums. Hall and Anderson say they’ve developed a reputation for the authenticity of their acoustic folk music.

The duo released their first CD, “Hungrytown,” in 2008. According to their promotional material, they spend more than half of each year on the road, in North America, Europe and New Zealand. Hungrytown’s music has been played on Comedy Central’s “Daily Show,” IFC’s “Portlandia” and Netflix’s “Lady Dynamite.”

The event is free. The library is located at 755 W. Napa St.
