The Funky Fridays summer concert series returns to Kenwood on June 1 for the concert series’ sixth season of raising money for local parks.
The concerts are held on the grounds of Hood Mansion off of Pythian Road, below Hood Mountain Regional Park.
Bill Myers and Linda Pavlak were honored as the 2017 Sonoma County Regional Parks recipients of the California Parks & Recreation Society Community Service Award for their work organizing the concert series.
“We raised $280,000 in our first five seasons with an all-volunteer staff, we will need lots of volunteers again this year,” said Myers.
Volunteer descriptions are posted at the “volunteer” page at funkyfridays.info.
