Willie Nelson cancels Graton Casino show due to illness

Willie Nelson's concert Wednesday at the Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park has been canceled after the 84-year-old singer experienced difficulty breathing and had to stop a show Saturday night in San Diego.

Nelson left the stage after one song at Harrah's Resort SoCal and witnesses said he was coughing and wheezing, people.com reported.

A Nelson spokesman was quoted as saying the singer has a “bad cold or the flu.” Upcoming dates this week have been canceled, including shows Friday and Saturday in Las Vegas and Sunday in Laughlin, Nevada.

Nelson is convalescing at his ranch in Texas.
