‘Occupation’ doc to screen in Sonoma on Oct. 20

An examination of Isreali propaganda, narrated by Roger Walters|

“The Occupation of the American Mind” will screen at the Sonoma Valley Library at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20. The no-holds-barred documentary examines an alleged Israeli propaganda campaign to win American support for turning Palestine into a Jewish state. The event’s organizer, Jim McFadden, describes the process as one that “disenfranchised hundreds of thousands of native Palestinians who have lost everything.”

The film is narrated by former Pink Floyd frontman Roger Waters.

A discussion will follow the viewing of the film, which runs one hour 20 minutes.

The free event is sponsored by Sonomans for Justice and Peace in Palestine.
