Open house celebration at Art Escape Sonoma

The Aug. 19 event will be nonprofit’s biggest fundraiser of the year|

Since its founding in 2012, more than 10,000 participants have attended visual art exploration programs at Art Escape Sonoma.

In celebration of that milestone, Art Escape is opening its doors to the public for a free community event to say “thank you.”

The event will celebrate the “Magic of Art and Community” from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 19. There will be a silent auction and raffle, local food and refreshments. The live entertainment includes the Aztec Dancers, a magic show and music by Bob Gosset & Co.

Activities for all ages will include marbled card and origami making, tarot readings and an art-and-culture presentation. On display will be “Springs Creatives,” an exhibit of work by local artists.
