‘Appalachian Cinderella’ returns to Sonoma

Local ballet dancers to perform this weekend.|

The ‘Appalachian Cinderella’ ballet returns to Sonoma and the Sebastiani stage at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15. The ballet is a production of the Sonoma Conservatory of Dance. The ballet tells the tale of a young girl who is left alone with her horrid stepmother and stepsisters when her father is carted off to jail. Her only comfort is her resourceful Granny, who finds a way for her to shine on the dance floor, making all of her dreams come true. Tickets are available at BrownPaperTickets.com.
