The Celtic, folk and world music duo, Four Shillings Short, will perform a free concert at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 24.

The instrumentation includes, hammered and mountain dulcimer, mandolin, mandola, bouzouki, tinwhistles, medieval and renaissance woodwinds, native American flute, banjo, vocals and more.

The husband/wife duo of Aodh Og O’Tuama from Cork, Ireland and Christy Martin from California, have been performing together since 1995, tour in the US and Ireland, are independent folk-artists with 12 recordings, perform 150 concerts a year and live as the troubadours of old.

“Four Shillings Short bring a fascinating mix of material, spirit and wit to the stage. They are visually interesting with their eclectic array of instruments. There is excitement, electricity and fun in their performance” says the past president of the North American Folk Alliance, Dave Humphreys.
